Exploring Atlanta's Cityscape

Two days covering Atlanta on foot: the King Center, Centennial Olympic Park, and a lot of the BeltLine.

Two days, over 25 miles walked, and most of downtown Atlanta covered on foot.

Day 1

Stats: 15.5 miles walked

Meals: Waffle House for breakfast · Circle Poke for lunch · Bangkok Station for dinner · Airbnb overnight

Stops: The Georgia State Capitol, Memorial Drive Greenway, Columbia Tower, Grant Park, Krog Street Tunnel, the Martin Luther King Jr. birth home, the King Center, the MLK National Historical Park, the Mohandas Gandhi statue, the Jackson Street Bridge, the Olympic Rings on Capitol Ave, the Peachtree Fountains plaza, the Woodruff Park fountain, CNN Center, State Farm Arena, Georgia International Plaza, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Fountain of Rings, SkyView Atlanta, Centennial Olympic Park, the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Humane Society, and the Millennium Gate Museum

Day 2

Stats: 10.2 miles walked · overnight bus travel

Meals: Panera Bread for breakfast · Starbucks for dinner

Stops: The BeltLine Trail, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Ponce City Market, The Oval, Piedmont Park, Historic Fourth Ward Park, Little Five Points, and Inman Park, with some of the city seen by train in between.
